I am honored to be a visiting author at Once Upon a Con Aug 15-17! This is my convention as an author since COVID. If you’re a fan of all things fantasy, you’ve got to come check it out! They’ll have vendors, workshops, panels, a fashion show, a masquerade, and naturally…FANTASY BOOKS.
It’s possible all I did in 2024 was eat all the delicious things. As I reflect in my New Year post, we’ll see if that’s actually true or not.
Interview with Kerelyn Smith, author of the children’s fantasy book Mulrox and the Malcognitos.. I also interviewed her character Rodenia. Kerelyn talks about the “Iron Throne” she built and adds a lot more books to my TBR. I get lost in the woods again, but this time I find a Squirrelmonk.
Interview with Katelyn Costello, author of the Young Adult Fantasy series Frituals. I also interviewed her character Shauna Flynn from Frituals. In summary, I get creeped out by ghosts and get lost in a forest.
Interview with Maggie McGuinness, author of the romance novels Planet Single and Mirrabooka Magic. I also interviewed the “Voices” from Planet Single. Maggie’s Australian, so I bring up the world’s deadliest animals. She retaliates with red lingerie.
We went to NYC to see Waiting for Godot and had a fun weekend getaway!
